PsyDet
Currently a grad student in Chicago finishing up her Master's degree in forensic psychology. I enjoy scrapbooking, reading, shopping online, bikram yoga, hot pink, changing my hair color and cooking/mixing up healthy eats! I have an amazing family and group of friends and consider myself very lucky to have such great people surrounding me. After graduating with my MA, I would like to continue school and get a PhD in clinical psychology so I can become a professor and be a consultant for the FBI and the police in criminal profiling.
Mr. PsyDet
Mr. PsyDet resides in the Detroit area (where PsyDet is from and will move back to in May) and works as a funeral director for a very busy funeral home. He loves his job and while helping families through their difficult loss is stressful, he feels a great sense of satisfaction when family members express gratitude in how well he handled their loved ones arrangements. Mr. PsyDet is the nicest man I have ever met and I can't believe I will be lucky enough to call him my husband. The photo to the left was taken the first month we were dating in November 2007.
How we met
Short version: My twin sister introduced us. Introducing us= her drunk dialing me the night before the MSU v. U of M game our junior year and saying that she found me a "ginger" boyfriend and handed him the phone. We talked, exchanged numbers, texted until 2am and met by chance on the street later that morning. We had our first date that night and have been together ever since.
